About Human Progress Foundation
The Human Progress Foundation works toward a future where people live longer, healthier lives, cultures are preserved, and human dignity holds. We pursue that through our own research, funding for scientists, and public education.
We envision a world where every human being has the opportunity to live a long, healthy, and meaningful life; a world where cultural diversity is preserved, scientific knowledge is advanced, and human dignity is upheld for all.
What we do
- Our research: We design and run studies in areas aligned with our mission: longevity, genomics, AI-for-science, and human flourishing. We use rigorous methods and report openly where we can.
- Funding researchers: We support independent scientists and labs whose work advances health, knowledge, and dignity. Grants and collaborations are selected for scientific merit and alignment with our values.
- Direct action & local causes: Alongside the research we fund, we back small, local charitable causes run by ordinary people. Donations become direct help for real communities.
- Publishing & outreach: We explain complex findings for the public through reviewed articles, so progress is understood and not just filed away in a journal.

How we differ from HumanProgress.org
HumanProgress.org is a data project of the Cato Institute. We are a separate Texas charity that runs research, funds scientists, and publishes stories about human flourishing, not macro-indicator dashboards alone.
